Empower Presentations
Re-brand to reflect re-positioning
Introduction
Client Fiona Walsh had changed business direction from her coaching business, Imagine Coaching, when we began working together. The problem was that her branding did not reflect this.
Her core service offering had developed into customised presentation skills-training using PowerPoint. In order to grow the business, she needed her branding to align with this new strategic position.
Challenges
Uniquely re-position the business as:
The only specialised PowerPoint training company that delivers bespoke training to medium to large-size corporates, combined with the added benefits of qualified coaching expertise and many years of business experience.
Strategy
Research
We conducted market research: to understand the client’s current perception amongst the target audience, and to help identify potential gaps in the market. Through feedback from business professionals, we gained insights into their training needs and delivery preferences.
Visual Identity
The chosen logo design is simple, crisp and impactful. It signifies the accelerated growth outcome for the clients of Empower Presentations customised training services.
The colour palette was chosen to prioritise visual accessibility and represent the natural world; and to convey the serious, competent personality of the founder. We ensured the logo was versatile for use across various media and contexts.
Deliverables
- New business name ideation: ‘Empower Presentations’ was the final choice. It reflects the confident brand personality, conveys the business offering, is trade-markable, and the domain name was available.
- Tagline ideation
- Define the brand personality for Empower Presentations
- Define brand positioning in relation to competitors
- Bespoke logo design – flexible design options for a full range of use cases
- Brand colour palette – chosen for maximum accessibility, in line with the brand personality and brand values
- Brand fonts – chosen to support the brand image
- Brand imagery – to support the premium, corporate, confident brand personality and positioning
- Design of a comprehensive suite of marketing materials – to ensure the team have the right brand tools for a full range of customer touchpoints – whether it’s publishing on social media, financial correspondence, or a tradeshow display
- Brand Strategy and Style Guidelines – roadmap to support Empower Presentations’ journey towards the long-term vision for the business
Results
Post-launch, Empower Presentations reported a significant increase in enquiries and memberships, and there are plans to grow the network across Ireland.
The Empower Presentations re-brand demonstrates how intentional branding can powerfully differentiate a business.

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING
From Fiona
“I engaged Mary to help me re-brand my business, as I had niched into a new area, and my existing branding no longer suited.
Mary spoke with a selection of my clients to understand what I do and how I do it. Then she came up with a series of business names, tag lines, logos and colour palettes.
Mary really understood me, my business and my values. She was a pleasure to work with, and I am delighted with the end result!
Thank you, Mary”
