Ignite Business Network Rebrand

Ignite is a business network for female founders in Ireland. Its founder, Pauline Sargent, wanted to give the organisation a more vibrant, contemporary, and outward-looking feel, and encourage more women to join the network and build meaningful connections.

The network had grown steadily and had a loyal core group of members, but Pauline knew the brand needed to better reflect its purpose, values, and energy. She also wanted to raise its profile to attract new members who might not have heard of it yet.

Introduction

Ignite Business Network supports Irish female founders through community, peer support, and skill-building. The rebrand needed to amplify its relevance and energy, encouraging new membership while honouring its grassroots origins.

Challenges

  • The original branding lacked visual impact and a strong sense of personality.
  • The network’s purpose and values were not clearly articulated in its public-facing materials.
  • Ignite needed to appeal to a broader and more diverse group of women entrepreneurs, while still serving its existing community well.

Strategy

Discovery & Research

We carried out workshops and conversations with members to understand what the network meant to them. Themes of courage, collaboration, and authenticity emerged again and again.

Brand Messaging

The tone of voice was developed to be bold, encouraging, and unpretentious — celebrating the grit and creativity of women running their own businesses in Ireland today. A new tagline was introduced: "Real women, real business".

Visual Identity

We chose a fresh, vibrant colour palette and a bold but friendly wordmark. Graphic elements hint at growth, connection, and energy. The new visual system gives Pauline and her team clear, consistent tools to work with across print and digital.

Implementation

The brand was applied across social media templates, event signage, printed postcards, website assets, and more. We also developed a set of Canva templates for the team to use, making ongoing communications easy and consistent.

Results

The rebrand gave Ignite a fresh sense of direction and purpose. Members shared their enthusiasm for the new look and messaging, and the network has continued to grow. Pauline has since been invited to speak about community-building and visibility, helping further raise Ignite’s profile.

Conclusion

Branding helped give Ignite a bolder, clearer voice in a crowded landscape. It communicates purpose and possibility — and reminds the women involved that their stories, skills, and businesses matter.
